Frequently Asked Questions About Doctorology Conferences

FAQs

Are your conferences accredited for CPD/CME?

Our conferences are accredited by The CPD Certification Service. We are reviewed independently by this professional body in order to ensure we are subscribing to the highest educational standards. This is an extra provision we have made for quality assurance purposes and for the peace-of-mind of our attendees.

We are committed to liaising with other international primary care organisations in order to ensure we meet their CPD requirements.

Who delivers your conference material?

Our lecturers are expert medical speakers with years of experience. Many are leaders in their speciality, authors, clinical leads or directors themselves of medical education companies.

When will we receive our attendance certificates?

Certificates are generated independently by our partner accreditation organisation - The CPD Certification Service. These should be emailed to you within 14 working days. Please do let us know in advance if you need your CPD certificate more urgently by emailing us at admin@doctorology.co.uk or calling us directly.

How many CPD points will I receive for attending conferences?

CPD points are given per hour of material delivered as advertised on our website. You are required to personally sign-in daily for face-to-face conferences. For virtual conferences please ensure that you log-in on a daily basis to receive the maximum number of CPD points.

How can we pay for conferences?

We provide a number of payment options - usually via card, PayPal or bank transfer. Refunds may be subject to currency conversion fees and/or payment processor fees for which we have no control.

Some attendees in the past have had struggled using foreign credit/debit cards using the Stripe payment processor. Please use PayPal or consider bank transfer if you are having difficulties.

How can I receive a refund?

You can email us at admin@doctorology.co.uk if you booked on our website via Ticket Tailor. Course refund fee requests need a maximum of seven working days notice prior to the conference start. Refunds may be subject to currency conversion fees and/or payment processor fees for which we have no control. Late refund requests (after the 7 working-day deadline) will be subject to a 50% fee and you will receive a voucher for the remaining amount. Accommodation is strictly non-refundable.

Please kindly seek approval from your employer regarding approval of leaves prior to booking as refund requests take significant administration time and may lead to at least partial loss of your course fees and/or flight costs if attending from abroad.
